I love using "The 12 Days of Christmas" concept as a promotional campaign to engage audience and boost sales. Basically, it's like an advent calendar that counts down to Christmas by revealing a new exciting deal or piece of content for 12 days.

The fun thing about this is you can post about anything you'd like. For clients of mine in the past, we've done a discount on different items or brands each day, giveaways, Christmas trivia questions, etc. It will entice fans to come back to your social media page or website each day.

Consumers expect promotions and discounts, so don’t lose out on potential custom by not providing some sort of offer. Make sure to incentivize the shopping experience – consumer surveys show that 74% of consumers prefer price discounts, followed by free shipping (72%), BOGO offers (39%) and cashback (29%).

When it comes to fulfilling orders, utilize tactics that consumers find beneficial, such as free delivery and returns. Combine your incentives with a sense of urgency for an added boost, such as limited time offers or first-come-first-served.
